I was thinking of a 4th gen dash in my 69 but decided not to. Now I am thinking twice. It looks like it was built for it.

I saw it parked at the Atlantis one day, but the hood was down. There are pictures of it in this link that kwhizz posted in the other Hot August Nights thread.

Every time I see one of these cars where they spent a fortune on bodywork, customer interior, and bling, and then slapped on chrome aircleaner sucking 200F radiator air, it makes me want to hurl.

Just realized I had a pic of 3 LS1Tech members cars that we took just before I left on Sunday. Here is the 57 Chevy of Dwight aka LS-1<>57 driven from Michigan via Route 66, the LS7 68 Camaro of Greg and Chris aka Chris442, all the way from Phoenix, and my Studebaker.

Just gotta say that Charley's car is fantastic. I thought I'd add a few pics that we took while we were there. These cars are all pretty familiar around here, but hey, I still love to see them.

I couldn't get there again this year after just completing the 5000+ mile road trip in the sedan....as usual, great photos Pat...always good to see your car out running around. Mine turned over 25,000 trouble free miles last week. I remember 'way back in 1999 when I decided to use LS power I was told by some fellow rodders.."don't use that new-age motor, not proven yet". These pictures kinda lay that one to rest.
