LS6 Intake manifold and cable TB on LS2 with E40 PCM
I have asked around to several tuners and everyone says either go DBW from a C5 Vette or get a E38 PCM.
I'm also wondering if the sensors in the LS6 intake manifold are compatible with the E40.
I just bought a E40 and now I'm feeling like I made a mistake... *kicks dirt*

E40 is for 24X reluctor, 1X cam, electronic throttle.
E38 is for 58X reluctor, 4X cam, electronic throttle.
If you have a 24X engine, at least you can drop back to an LS1 style PCM and go cable throttle.

If it was mine to do, I would keep the E-40 and get a LS2 intake and TB. You will make more power with the LS2 intake and the bigger TB. Making the LS1 ECM work with the LS2 can be done, but a custom harness needs to be made to adapt the LS1 ECM to the sensors on the LS2. Sensors are in different places, and in a lot of cases, use different plugs. I love the DBW setup on my LS2's. I'll bet that you end up coming out cheaper than converting to a LS1 ECM.
