Its sad that my 94 RX-7 LS1/T56 swap is actually becoming a "commonplace" thing.

more pics. I sold this car last month. It's now rolling around in Texas

The purists hated me for it, but I could care less. It was original, moved right along, reliable and fun. I drove it to Tulsa and back (from LA) to see them pull the rusted hulk of a Belvedere out of the time capsule. It was also on a TV commercial, part of a display at a Padres game, and made into a Hot Wheels.

Not too shabby for an LS1 swap

I want to see, drive, build a 510. However that will never happen for me. A Delorean would be awesome too!! Somebody needs to do one! You wouldn't have any trouble at all getting up to 88 mph!!

Very nice.
I was in Tulsa that weekend for a car show... what a waste of a perfectly good car.

BTW - f**k the purists... I built a Thunderbird with a Gen III.

I know there is a guy on here with one..the LS1 Caterham Super 7..that is a pretty good idea.

Or a LS in a Shelby Cobra kit car.

Caterham LS is an awesome idea!
The Type 1 SB is sick! I've got a rotary powered '66 cab I'm still deciding what to do with.

Here's my 3 yr endeavor

There is a guy 15 miles north of me making a 1/2 scale replica of a P-51 with a full size engine in it. That should be a lot of fun!

A Opel GT or a Pantera would be pretty cool.

One day I'm going to do a '61-'74 LS powered Jaguar XK-E.

I hear ya about some of the purists. I get crap on a regular basis from some of them. I just have to get off my a$$ and finish the dang car now lol..

I have a thread here somewhere detailing the build. Gotta find it and update when I get more stuff done..
