throttle body / injector 5.3 to ls1 question I have a 2006 5.3 for my 69 f-body swap. I picked up a ls1 intake over the weekend. I am wondering if I must use the LS1 injectors and throttle body or can I use the original ones off the 5.3 truck engine. Before you ask why, I am just trying to determine what is the cheapest route. The 5.3 is drive by wire. I need a gas pedal for the camaro, so that would be free if I keep the throttle body. The injectors have different plugs ( so I have been told) and I am unsure what the cost will be to replace 8 of these plugs. I am low budget, almost no budget and am looking for what route will get me to a starting swap first.

The truck injectors won't bolt right on they need spacers. Use the LS1 intake injectors some one makes an adapter plugs for them.
