Anyone ever put a 98 PCM/harness in a 99+ car?

The 98 cars didn't have the data bus line for the information the 99+ cars have. That's why the gauges don't work. The traction control is a little different because one is the 3 channel vs 4 channel rear end. The plugs on the 98's have different pinouts than the 99+. So your AC probably won't even wort either.

Lots of reading is envolved. I got my "conversion" to work with about 2 weeks of work and trial and errors. I did it because I wanted something challenging to do.

Ill add this little bit of info. I got my 99+ gauges to work on a 94 LT1 pcm. Lots of work on that one.
