Corral is actually one of the better sources for Fox info ive found, but man do they get butthurt fast if you talk about shoving a real engine in there.

Thats why LS1tech rocks, friendlier people with open minds.

Well here's my only and biggest problem with both of the other brand lowliest; everyone hates it when people put Chevy under the hood but yet nothing is ever said about putting Chevy behind the other 2's engine now do they.......that is ok with both other parties cause it's been done for so long they don't know any better. Lets be realistic here Ford engines flat out suck and Mopar well that kinda speaks for itself. I personally love when the Ford lowliest get all bent out of shape so much I built 2.

I must be missing something as I don't find the term "half breed" offensive at all.

Most of them are just aggrevated that they can't go as fast as you. I say congrats. Once a car is basically a race car, who cares if its a chevy in a ford.

Imagine if Chevy guys got upset every time somebody "confessed" to installing a Ford 9" in their bowtie ride. To hell with brand loyalty - use what works.

What a douche!!! I love my mustang and ford had a great run with the fox cars from 87-93 while gm was snoozing and 90% of the f-bodys running around had 305's which were just plain worthless. Ever since the lt1, and especially now with the LS motors, it's time to admit that gm built a better mouse trap and move on. That's what I did (building a 90 fox car with a 6.0)

I have met Greg and been to the **** hole track he is so proud of.

It is really kind of funny how the few cleveland guys are like the Jay Allen group over there.

I just can't wait to get mine finished up and see what they have to say. I have my screw driver all polished up ready to tune it up.

The way some of the BS got started over there was a Thread titled "No way an LSX" The theme was that there is no way an LS engine can run 9's with a cam and switch to carb, certainly not a lower compression iron truck motor.
There were 2 individuals i believe to be brothers that race Clevor engines(Cleveland heads on a windsor block) There argument was how superior the cleveland design was to any thing LS. Their 408 solid roller 12.5/1 Clevors were running 10 teens in Febuary(winter conditions).
The list of arguments was lond,
my car is lighter than the stated weight, they accused of 2100lbs, thats a good one.
The engine is not what is stated, low compression truck engine with cam/carb.
Since so few LS cars run this fast with so little mods , can't be possible.
They have not seen such a car in their area, therefore it can't be true!!
The Clevor design from 30 years ago is still superior today, that's a good one!
There will be more and more of these combo's showing up as some have builds in progress.
Should just drive them Nutzz!!!

Oh well, let em' keep running people off. They have people hand feeding them a recipe for one of the most low budget 9sec rides in history and they would rather run 10's and 11's splitting stock blocks or spending twice as much on big money engines. Just more people for us to outrun!!

The same Ford guys that p..ss and moan will spend thousand to drop a Dart block with Trick Flow heads and an Eagle rotating assembly in their car. None of that stuff is Ford... How about a Currie rear end? Not ford! Harwood hood? Not Ford! B&M shifter? Not Ford! Centerforce clutch? Not Ford! American Racing wheels? K&N filter? BBK headers? Not ford! And the list goes on...

the good thing about it is that the hardcore ford guys will never accept it and they always have an answer for whatever you got, and if not they always got a "buddy" that will outrun whatever you got and then some.
they pump themselves up and set themselves up. excuses get old.
