Default L33 in Porsche 911

Well, it's almost done.

Needs some carb and ignition fine tuning, but it starts and drives, everything works as before, including A/C.

Did that come stock with an air-cooled flat 4 or 6? How much did the original engine weigh, do you know?

Sweet job!! Looks like it'd be a hell of a fun ride considering it's what, a 23-2400 lb car?

Default re:engine size

The original engine was a 3.2L flat 6 and tipped the scales at about 500lb.

what transmission are you running? Did you use a Kennedy Engineering adapter plate?

Looks like a blast. Talk about torque monster compared to the original Flat 6!

Default 911

Nice! I have a 1966 with a L-69 SBC that I did a few years ago, maybe I need to upgrade it to LSX!

Default re:trans and adapter

The transmission is the stock 915 for now.
The adapter plate and cradle came from Renegade.

Default Carb/Ignition Settings

I don't know if anybody cares, but here are the tuning settings:

Engine:L33

Intake: Edelbrock Dual Plane

Exhaust: 2002 Camaro Manifolds

Carb: 600 cfm Holley Vacuum Secondaries

Ignition: MSD 6010
Ignition Settings: Pill 5

Carb Settings: Short yellow secondary spring, green accelerator pump cam on #2.

Cam: Comp Cams XR269HR

Transmission: 5 speed 915

Rear axle ratio: 3:88:1

Anything else you want to know, just ask.

With these settings, at 1500 rpm is 2nd gear, flooring the gas pedal squeals the rear tires (with a 45/55 weight distribution) and pulls hard to the 6000 rpm rev limiter. No dyno numbers available, and I'm figuring it's not worth $350 for a few horsepower more and for them to tell me it is 352 rwhp instead of 325, or vice-versa.

Regards,
Ken
