6.0 Headers

6.0 Headers Getting ready to order headers for my LY6 6.0 going into a 79 Toyota Landcruiser. Need a block hugger type header as the frame rails are pretty tight. Will the Sanderson QP1000 work with the valve cover mounted coils or is there a better / cheaper solution?

I think you are looking for some Sanderson CC1LS1.
You might think about the earlier LS1 Corvette sheet-metal manifolds if you don't want to pay the price of the Sandersons. I doubt if there is any performance difference.

I was wondering about the port configuration as well. The person at Sanderson said they would work, but I wasn't sure if they were really listening to what I was telling them. Don't want to make an expensive mistake.
