93-98 Jeep steering boxes will work. You can search over at www.chevelles.com for a bunch of info but here is a link to a list of the desired boxes: http://jimshea.corvettefaq.com/wp-co...Gear12DE04.xls

I made an adapter for the clutch master last night. It will bolt in place of the original clutch rod boot next to the steering column. Also I just scored a posi unit and 3.31 gear set from ebay for my 12 bolt. I need to get my transmission tunnel and toe pans done soon. I would like to have the body off the frame Thanksgiving weekend.

I worked on the transmission tunnel a little. I actually enlarged the cut at the firewall as well. It should help to get the engine and transmission out as well. I still have another tunnel out of a different donor car. I am removing the reverse lockout solenoid as well. It really got in the way and I wasn't gonna hook it up anyway. I will just put a expansion plug in it's place. I plan on a bunch of grinding as well, I wanna make it look factory if I can.

The tunnel is done(ish) I still have some welds to grind down and to make it look good underneath once I take the body off of the frame.
I got the clutch master mounted and all of the bracket welded in. I had to cut and move the rod mount point. I still need to build a pedal stop to keep from over extending the push rod and breaking the clutch master. I also mounted the hydro boost and cut the pedal mount off. I threaded the rod on the HB and installed a aftermarket mount point and clevis pin.
I also installed my tubular lower control arms and cut a coil off of each side of my front springs. I plan on coil overs eventually but I'll have to make do for now. I love the way these control arms make the car look. They will go great with the LS1 front and rear brakes and the Baer eradispeed rotors.

I bought this set of fans off of a member on here. They are off of a 2005 up Silverado and are HUGE!
They measure 35X21 and they could probably be trimmed a little. I think they will fit my Chevelle with only minor clearancing. I have a set of these fans on my 03 Silverado SS and have never had any cooling issues even when towing. You can get a 3 relay wiring harness from Nelson Performance for $99 shipped http://www.nelsonperformance.com/products.htm#fans

I bought a set of wheels from a 01 Z06 Corvette the other day. I do not have them yet, have to drive an hour to get them. They have been polished but I may end up powder coating them black. I ultimately plan on painting my car black as well. I borrowed a pic to give a general idea what the wheels look like on a Chevelle.
Of course I am having a set of hub adapters made so the wheels will fit my car. Also I plan a little different stance. Maybe 1 inch lower in the front and 2 or 3 in the rear. Not so much of a rake.

I have a couple of new pics. The first pic is of my freshly powder coated Z06 wheel (in wet black OCC). The next pic is my Metco control arms, Red powder coated LS1 calipers, front sway bar, and 2 inch hub adapters.

I also forgot to mention that the box all of that stuff is resting on contains my 3 inch stainless Pypes exhaust. I am currently building the 12 bolt and once I get the gears properly set up I will include some more pics.

It's been a while but I have a few new pics. I bought a old raggedy set of Z06 wheels of of craigslist and had my buddy powder coat them in OCC Wet black. I recently finished my 12 bolt build which includes Richmond 3.55 gears, Superior axles with 1/2 inch screw in studs, LS1 rear brakes and a set of lightly used Baer eradispeed rotors.
I also got a deal on a new set of Hotchkiss lowering springs and installed them in the back. The front just has chopped stock front coils right now. I have the Hotchkiss springs for the front as well.
I have been working on a late model wiper conversion. I have the switch mocked up and the motor mounted on the firewall. I still need to tweak my adapter bracket and make a arm but I am a lot closer now.
