PSI conversion, what ECM would you use to get all the factory gauges and cruise control to work in a 95'? I would be interested in a harness if I could use a 411 ECM and retain all the factory stuff.

Also it looks like the truck accessories clear the factory hood too.

I don't know if a L92 pan might work for this swap, but if it does, I have a really nice one for sale. Just shoot me a PM.

I'm asking for a friend. he has an 89 Caprice wagon. It originally had the 307 Olds engine. The frame mounts are farther back on the crossmember. Can they be used, or does he need to move them to the SBC position? Also, what about using the Dirty Dingo slider plates?

This thread has slowly died . Any updates on the swaps being mentioned ? Has there been a plug and play harness made for a 94-96 b body ? Any news of new swaps being done or finished ?

current performance is grafting the original lt1engine harness to the LS harness thus making it a true plug n play swap

What is the best switched 12v source on a 79 caprice for the fuse box of a diy harness? I made my fuse box according to lt1swap.

Truck pan will hang too low. I used the Holley Pan.

Yep, I have a 78 Impala Coupe with an LS3 and an 85 Delta 88 Coupe with an LQ9. The LS3 was a crate motor that came with a Camaro SS pan, that pan wouldn't clear the cross member. The LQ9 pan hung too low, I would've tore it off on a speed bump.

You guys think these would be the best motor mounts?

https://www.holley.com/products/ls_p...parts/12643HKR

I am only buying Holley parts since I consult for them.

I have the Holley FEAD brackets, so my alternator is up high.

I have been sourcing F-Body accesories and brackets.

Friday or Saturday I will take a bunch of pics of my current SBC setup for my buddy who is going to do the swap.
