I got a load of new parts today...

Aeromotive Stealth Fuel Cell 20gallon. It has an Aeromotive Eliminator pump built into it with a prefilter and sump to keep it submerged at all times. It flows 30% more than an A1000.

Sump in the tank.

Just to give you a size reference for the turbo....

I got a little more work done today. I swapped out my gears to some 3.55 from 4.10 and also set up a drag spool from Strange Engineering. I also finished up fabbing up a bracing system to hold my triangulated wishbone in the rear end out of 1/2 stainless rod. It looks flimsy but it is strong and should hold for the little amount of force being applied to this area. Although not pictured I went back and finished welding it all and put gussets in. I also have a anti roll bar I installed and welded to the frame and to the axle tubes to help eliminate and moving around of the rear end at high speed. These along with the wishbone should help alot at 150+ traps.

I admire the work on the car but I have to question the wishbone added to the rear suspension. It appears from the pics that it will put the suspension in a bind because it looks to be longer than the lower control arms, and is mounted in a similar plane. Of course pictures can be deceiving, but look at it again for yourself for safety's sake.

I dont know if you can see it or not, but the wishbone has a sliding sleeve built in and it telescopes fore and aft as the pinion angle changes. On a side not I'm not sure why the other spring looks that way. On the ground it sits level. Weird.

The drag launch springs are built that way to help prevent body role. It is the same hieght it just has one more coil.

OK, yeah, the pics dont show the telescoping part. The wishbone must be for locating the diff left/right? I have never seen that before, only a wishbone similar to that on the top of the diff for a 3-link.
Cool car.
