Made some more progress tonight, Got the plates welded to the frame rails and triangulated the cross bar.... Still gotta clean the plates up a bit and then shorten the outrigger a little to the length I want and weld the works in!

Ok ladies and gents.. Chute mount is DONE! well until I get the chute and build the pack mount and tether mount.
Now I am gonna build some nice light bumper mounts and finish bracing the fuel cell mounts etc, sheet the trunk floor in and start on the cage!

I love the turd appearance.
That's the first time I've seen anyone weld on a cast manifold and add a V Band. I really like that setup.

Got the manifolds back from being recoated, cut the fender aprons out getting ready to start fitting turbo kit.
Also dropped the rad about 3 inches to make room for intercooler piping because the planned changed some what and now I am going back to an air to air intercooler.

not much new on the car front around here.... too busy with customers stuff.
Made a little progress and started fitting the turbo kit..... I am not fancy fabricator but I think it looks ok for DIY crap.
Got the V band welded on the passenger side, You can see how much different the manifolds are based on where the passenger turbo kit is in relation to the hot side piping.

Did a little on the drivers side of the kit last night :
Got the v band all fitted and the flex welded in also changed the bends on the kit to try and match the other side a little better even being that the manifolds exit in different areas, Still gotta clean up and weld the bottom half as well as build a piece to bridge the gap.
Soon it will be time to clean it all up and coat/wrap it.

Got the front wheels back from coating and mounted the tires.... Put them on the car to see how they look, I like em but I think I will like em even more if i can get a dog dish cap mounted on there. Still gotta get dust caps for it too.
They really do look like a Steel Wheel.
Got the turbo hot side pipes finished up, Tried out DEI new "titanium" wrap but not sure if I really like it or not, does not fit as tight as conventional wrap.
Gotta get some stainless ties then I will take off the hose clamps and also clean up the flex pipes and it should look ok for some budget junk.
