98 harness and computer

98 harness and computer I was pretty much given a 98 camaro engine harness and pcm today. is it even worth using or sending out for modification?
Im thinking of getting a stand alone harness from either techrods or current performance or PSI off ebay because they supply the needed relays.
if i go through with the swap itll be a carbed/t56 to a FI/4l60e in my 69 camaro.

As long as you got both the harness and computer from a 98' then you're all good. I have a complete 98' f-body setup in my Caprice with a Dan Bills from FLP tune and its running a like a runaway train! Save the money and send it to Jesse for reworking.
Repinning the 98 is not too difficult if you want to do it yourself. I have schematics if you need em.

Can anyone expand on whats so terribly wrong with the 98' harness and pcm? Im running it in my 80' Caprice with all the good bolt-ons, z06 cam/intake/heads(ported) with no problems whatsoever. I'm just curious to know if Im missing out on some hp by not using the 99'-02' pcm?
