which way does the water flow from the pump?
which way does the water flow from the pump? Doing my VA A/C install and need to hook up my water lines to the heater coils and the heater valve needs to go on the discharge line, is the front or rear water pump port the discharge line?

Actually I believe it is the reverse - the smaller fitting to the rear is the outlet from the pump and the larger fitting to the front is the return to the pump.

Like most system, (AC, power steering, Radiator, etc).. The Heater core is no different, the smaller line is the pressure or feed.. the larger is usually the return line. Remebering this is always a good general rule to use.
