I can get a 95 Z28 from the dealership i work at for $1800. Whats all involved with swapping it over to the LS1? I figure id get a full LS1 Motorset with ecu, wiring, and whatever else i can get with it. Also im pretty sure you gotta swap the K Member too. Anymore info would be greatly appreciated.

 

ls1 kmember with frame stands and engine mounts, ls1 rack and pinion. you can keep the radiator and fans. i am doing this now with a 97 firebird that had a v-6 in it. the wiring is a pain to me for now getting merv to help me sort thru it. you can buy a stand alone harness from vendors on here or send them a ls1 harness and they can fix it for you if you have the money. i am building mine for the 275 radial class, so i am doing the walbro fuel pump, fuel lines with the corvette filter with return.

easiest way is to not buy it and get one with a ls1 already

 

Not sure you could get one for $1800 though. If the body is good, 1800 is a good deal. Could sell the LT1 in the car for $1000 easy to offset the cost.

 

Look up Mean Green Z28...he did the swap on my car...

 

The styling of the early 4th gen cars is soooo much better than the late 4th gens, that's why.
