Ls7 air intake, Hooker block hugger headers on my LS1 Studebaker.
Today was a beautiful day, and so made the most of it this afternoon. After sawing away on the fiberglass, we rolled it out side.
Installed a set of Hooker Competition block hugger shorty headers today. The reason we went with shorty headers rather than long tubes is they need to dump quickly to the side pipes. We have had to cut the sides of the firewall fiberglass even more, trying to get adequate clearance from the anticipated heat.
I am planning on running a short tilt column assembly, so that just the double "D" shaft should be passing by the headers, not the column.
Here is the LS7 air intake in the cold air box holding the radiator. I still have to make the cover for where the LS7 MAF was. Using the LS1 MAF for now.
