I always thought people recommended the 5.3 for turbos more than the 6.0s.

I actually like location of the turbos. But, how much room is there with the fenders on. Won't they give off too much heat and peel the fender paint? Even with a heat shield?

Cool project! I actually like the two-tone Fairmont a lot better, even if it is a little grandpa like! It's not at all ghetto-fabulous like the Zephyr was.

I was thinking the same thing about the paint on the fenders. If it doesn't peel the paint, I bet it will noticeably dull it over time... even if the paint's already dull.

I'm going to wrap the pipes and blanket the turbo and i might stick some heat stuff on the fender too. I want to keep the org paint for now and see how it goes.

Man....I love this car...Where are you located...?

Wish I could find something half that clean up here in Alaska...

Great mountain views, fishing and hunting...but the project car selection plain sucks...
