No worries, I just get annoyed with people thinking Im some rich *****.
When I started this thread I was thinking about pulling the motor from my trans am and sticking it in something else.
but since then, I have put a lot of money into the actual car, (suspension, interior, sound system, etc..) so basically this car will never be sold.
but I still have plans for a prius... someday, just with a different engine.

i know what you mean, i have alot into my car and its not finished yet,i will never get rid of my car either i like it too much, but like the others said id get a junkyard 350 or something for a prius, peoples face would be priceless when you stomp on it and hence the engine smoking, lol
I want to build this at an OEM level, (as I do at work). When Im done I want it to be "believable"

hey , ive got an idea. not an LS swap, BUT, i say a mini van on a show the other day. it had a hewie helicopter turbine engine that ran the rear wheels. dude pusheda button , the rear hatch opened and the turbine slid in position out the back. cool thing was, the front wheels still used the original 4 banger for motivation for daily driver duties ! TRUE STORY........imagine some ***** in a shelby gt500 showing off for his hot girlfriend picken on a poor defenseless prius when the hatch opens , a damn tubine slides out and the thing takes off like a rocket! think that would challenge your fab skills ?

That does not address the OEM fitment goal. also I have zero knowledge of turbine engines, with not the time of inclination to learn. :/
If I leave LS engines, it will be to diesels.

Not yet, not sure if it even will. Would be fun, but at my age, thats a lot of money to put into something with zero sex appeal. Its a build I would like to do, but there are so many that are on that same list.... Only time will tell... Stay tuned.
