Default 02' LS1/T56 into 70 chevelle?

Problem is this was the plan. After looking for a LS1/T56 motor combo I settled on a totaled title donor car......60K mile black 2002 Z28 LS1/6spd with the monsoon stereo, 12 disc changer, Hurst short shifter, power everything, tinted windows, chrome C4 wheels, high output fog lights. It is unmolested except for the wheels and tint. Engine and interior are clean as a whistle, everything works, and after driving it 2.5 hours home I am having second thoughts. All it did was kiss a guardrail. It just needs the right rear quarter fixed and some scrapes on the front fender. It is all superficial damage and the rest of the car is super clean. I bought it as a donor, but am afraid it may end up a driver.
