Default 70 chevelle LS327 (ya i know its 325)

So i am starting down the path of installing a LS motor in my Malibu. Currently it has a 305 and a 4-speed saginaw. I am not rich so i have to mind a budget yet want to maximize performance and reliability.

PLANS

5.3 '01 62k mile motor on the way-lkq
Thumper stage 2 cam or stage 1
stock heads for now-beehive springs and new retainers
GMPP LS1 carbed intake
GMPP muscle car pan
MSD Box
Holly ultra street avenger 770 cfm
trans dapt conversion mounts
Flow master xhaust
phoenix transmissions turbo 350

critique away-anyone with constructive input I am all ears as this will take some time for me to accomplish.

parts are not ordered yet so I have time to change my mind if needed

good question, just figured turbo 350 would be a simpler install w/ the conversion. this is orginally an auto car

i think Kielser Automotive has all the conversion parts needed to adapt the Saginaw to the LS engine....I think it would be cool to keep the 4 speed but it's your car
