Default Stock Tach With 5.3?
I have a 1972 Blazer with stock tach and do not want to change it. What signal does that tach use? Is there any way to hook it to the white 5.3 lead from the pcm?

Hook the tach up to that white wire and change the tach output to 3 in the PCM with HPTuners or EFILive 7. Done. You could use an external tach converter box too, but changing it in the pcm is easier.

My ECM has been reprogrammed by WAIT4ME PERFORMANCE, should he be able to change this setting?

He may have already changed that setting if he knew the PCM was being used in a conversion. I know he can change it because he is the one who first reprogrammed my PCM.

Another option is to use an SGI-8 signal converter from Dakota Digital... if you don't have access to changing the PCM.
