haha ya i think the guy i sold it too might have something to say about that...lol
honestly i would never build another 12bolt, i broke this one 3 times over the last 15 years.... i was gonna build this one stronger but its worth too much and for the same price of a moser 12bolt you can get a 9" with disc brakes...

The cam sensor is the one at the top rear of the enging by the oil pressure sender, the crank sensor is behind the starter. A 24x crank sensor is black, a 58x will be gray.

some slow progress...parts are trickling in...got the short block all cleaned up and painted, mocked up the engine so i can figure out where in the lifter valley i can put the breather. anyone know if 1 breather in the valley cover will be enough? i filled the breather and pcv holes on the valve covers( not gonna be efi, carb'd)
also anothe thing, i got the intake today and i noticed it has 2 vaccum ports tapped into it, was thinking maybe put a map senor in one.....which brings me to my next question anyone got a pic of the stock lq4 map sensor(not sure which one it is on the old intake that came with the engine) and a i'd like to see some mouting ideas that dont stupid(trying to keep things clean looking)

ok on another note i need vote , valve covers paint them semi gloss black or silver/aluminum color??? i'm undecided

That looks something like the 408 I am finishing up for my '69 Nova.

I just sold the 406 SBC out of it 3 days ago, so now I have some cash to buy the fuel system and start collecting the turbo parts. Good luck with your project. I am just a few steps behind.
