Anyone done something like this. I am planning on doing this. The motor swap doesn't seem to be the problem. Its the manual swap into a column shift truck that never was offered with a manual. Any ideas or help from someone who has done this?

Older trucks have rather generic columns and can be swapped around easily

Newer ones are specific to the dash style. You may have to hunt down a manual diesel column or live with a rubber cover on the old shifter hole

How new of a truck? The GMT-800's had manuals up till 05 in half-tons.
