Very nice. I'm doing the exact setup. Carbed intake, TB, 42lb injectors.. This thread really helped me. Thanks.
Did you run 1 line up from the tank, put the regulator in the back?
lastly, where did you mount your coil packs?
Thanks for all the pics!!

I haven't received my coil relocation brackets yet, but they will go on the firewall. I'll show more pics of the engine bay once it's all complete.

No, I'm still working out some small things and cleaning some things up. I need to get the 3.73 gears in, then get a final tune. My tuner just threw in a rough tune to get me around now. I was ripping around corners and it felt lighter than my tank 4th gen F-body (3580 lbs). I ran it across the scales and it weighs in at 3200 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas! And this motor should be making ~50hp more than the old ls1 (due to the induction) that I built with the same heads and similar cam in the 4th gen. It ran 11.23 et NA on pump gas. I had the tuner set the rev limiter to 6900 temporarily incase if something in the 4 barrel TB stuck, I could save the motor. It hits that real quick and is still making a ton of power. I'll probably have to move that up to 7200 or so depending on where it peaks. This should be an easy high 10 second car NA pump gasser ![Cheers!!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cheers.gif)
Thanks man!
Shorty is good friend of mine too. We had a great common friend, Matt Soper, that passed a year and a half ago in a terrible wreck. Shorty and I still chat. He actually bought that yellow 750 GSXR from me. I'll have to get the car up that way sometime.

Finally got the coilpacks hidden. Driver side is way down low behind the head. I also showed the regulator underneath the passenger door about 1 foot behind the firewall. I kept the regulator as close to the rails as I could so pressure will stay close to 58 psi with the G-forces on acceleration. Put the caltracs, leafsprings on and gears all at the same time. Car rides really nice now. Car is basically done and it will get the final tune tomorrow. Except I need a ecm box of some sort. The car is very fast! The single plane and accufab really make the car scream. I guess the track will tell all.

It is a nasty, rainy day here in kansas so I went to the dyno today for the fun of it. With the 3800 stall converter unlocked, it made 441 rwhp @ 6600. Course unlocked muddies the water up some. Probably talking 460 rwhp if it was locked. Still planing on 10s when I get some tires for it

frito1, what kind of mass air flow sensor are you using? Can you post a picture with the air cleaner off? I planned a similiar old school looking efi swap but couldn't find the MAF. Mass-Flo makes one that sits on top of the throttle body but I was told it was not compatible with OEM GM computer. Ended up using FAST EZ-efi. Looks awesome.
