Default 06 t56 slave bracket

Hello,i'm getting ready to do a 06 ls2 with the t56 into my 72 chevelle and wanted to know has anyone done this? I'm getting together all my parts and info but can't find the bracket that mounts the slave cylinder to the firewall.I found a bracket for the earlier slave cylinder but the 06 gto is alot smaller. Can someone help me?

Default Slave or Master

Are you talking about the slave or master cylinder? The slave cylinder is mounted to the transmission housing itself and does not require any type of bracket, now if you are talking about the MASTER cylinder there are a few companies that make a bracket that bolts behind your brake master cylinder ot behind your brake booster depending if you have power brakes or not, either way it is the same bracket, and you have to use a 1998 -2002 "F" Body master cylinder "Camaro-Firebird" on that bracket.

Default Master Cylinder

I did a similar swap I put in a LS2-T56 combo from a wrecked 2006 GT0 and installed it in a 1966 GTO, if you have the master cylinder swap bracket, as said earlier you will need the 1998-2002 5.7 liter F-Body master cylinder you can buy them from a parts store but they dont come with the reservoir or the fluid line if you buy it from the dealer it comes complete with the master cylinder, reservoir and fluid line, and then you will need to install a 1998-2002 5.7 Slave cylinder on the transmission as the fluid line from the master cylinder has a different connection to the slave cylinder, actually the slave cylinder on the GTO is exactly the same as the F-Body except where the line connects, to save you some money if you can find the F-Body slave cylinder fitting you can put it on your GTO slave and then the line will connect.
