Anybody know whats the best way to remove the crank pulley? Is there a special tool needed?

if you have the bolt removed already, you just need a standard 3jaw gear puller to the balancer off. installing and torquing is fun.. wait til ya get to that point.

hate to ask but whatis that pulley and alternator relocation kit worth. my alternator is low mount on my 64 but i can barely slide a piece of paper between it and my new power steering box.

Nope. Havnet removed the bolt yet. maybe i'll try to do the crank pulley swap this weekend.

This kit is pretty pricey. Its about $2k at Street & Performance.

Nice 61! Mine is still under the knife in kit form but it used to be my daily several years ago.

Don't you love the "moving dollies" for car skates? My 61 is sitting on a set as we speak. Perfect size, less expensive than real car skates and work almost as well as the cheap ones in my experience. I'm told the real nice ones have ball bearing wheels but who can afford them?
