Nice car! I hate waiting on parts.

Doesn't having a rotisserie make life easier? Some friends and I built one and I don't know how we got on without it before!

Keep us updated, I love 60's full size cars.

Nice project. Love those '61 and '62s. I had a '62 SS many years ago and sold it for $600 .

What oil pan and headers are you using?

Welcome to the forum and Good luck!

Welcome to the forum and Good luck!

The headers are from BRP and oil pan is from SommersRacing.

I plan on having a new 2 piece shaft made. The headers fit pretty good, could of used a little more room on the right side.

I am using BRP engine mounts and trans mount. If I would of known they were not a direct bolt in set up I would have had the shop doing the work make there own.

I see you have a the rack and pinion on the frame which I have thought about doing. How low does it hang? I'm thinking about adding one on my car but i dont want it to hit the ground since I am useing air ride all around the car. was it a simple bolt on?

I am using the Unisteer rack set-up. Its about even with the crossmember, wont affect ground clearance. It was a simple install, but had to make spacers. I guess there is diff. in the frame , aleast thats what uni-steer says
