Default 300ZX LS1 swap
Right now I am inlimbo about puttin a ls1 in the car! I am lookin for paper work on it and I want to keep it twin turbo if I do the swap. Also I dont want to cut the car up it is a 1990 300ZX twin turbo with 75,000 mi. so cuttin it up like a race car is a no go. just tell me what yall think. I am up for all suggestions.

good luck if u can....but i will say u cant without cutting it....theres a reason y 5 or 6 z32 ls1 swap had modify their firewall/tranny tunnel....

I've been looking into this swap quite a bit lately, kinda have something in the makings, but from every lsx swapped z32 I've seen, the firewall was modified in some shape or form.

I'm doing the swap now without cutting the tunnel. I can tell you everything you want to know. I have a used LS1 for sale and a NA that could be used for the swap. Give me a call when you have some time.

There is one done in/around Columbia, SC. I know he had to cut the trans tunnel. You might be able to find it somewhere on the web, I remember seeing pictures. I originally wanted to do that swap but then found out about the metal work and decided against it.
