that will work, i did not want to run another line back to the tank. the vette fuel reg has a return line. so i put it right next to the tank. my return line is about a foot long lol. i cut a hole in my trunk ( it was rusty anyway) and made a hatch to get the fuel pump out with out drop`in the tank, and welded a bracket for the fuel/reg right there so i can change both easy. my camaro was a shell, no motor or trans base model x55 ss green with green int yuk. so i had no problem doing surgery on it
