Default 19155167 - GMPP Accessory Drive System Without A/C

Hello. I'm thinking of using this accessory drive for a 6.0L swap into a 91 Camaro. http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...&ProdID=248708

Is anyone running this in a third gen f-body? A couple guys over at TGO say they are running it successfully, but then a couple of guys over there have doubts - they think the P/S pump might hit the steering box.

It seems like a good deal and it would be easier to just buy this than trying to find/buy all the f-body accessories separately (and might even be cheaper...).

But of course it's only a good deal if it fits. Help?

I'm probably going to use the same system in a 2nd gen TA. I like the idea of not having to notch the frame like I would have to with the other system (19155166, I think). Has anyone used either system with a 2nd or 3rd gen f-body?

BTW, don't know the answer to your question, but thought you might want to know that really isn't a GM kit. It starts off as a GM kit then Pace removes the A/C stuff and gives it a new part number that is close to the original number - but it doesn't work with GM parts dept. Just in case you were planning n shopping around.

Thats the kit I bought. I ordered it only to have it on back order. Before they came in, PACE put them on sale IIRC...... $487 ish. I was glad they waited to bill my CC until they shipped it. They shipped it a week earlier than they said. too

That is the set up my buddy is useing on his 91 w/LS3. He is on TGO (has a build thread-blue car w/cage) and the kit works out really well.

good to know. For me, it was a toss up between the official GM kit with the AC pump, and the Pace kit without. They are about 150 dollars apart, delivered. My car is factory no-AC, so the Pace kit looks like a no-brainer

looks like Pace bumped the price up recently - $719 + shipping. A little searching around will result in finding the complete kit (19151067 - w/ AC system included) from GM dealers for about $30 more.

It's almost not worth being cheap about it. I figure I can get the complete kit and sell the AC pump, bracket, belt and tensioner on Ebay or here for far more than the difference.
