67 Nova L92 swap Few pics of my 67 Nova with the L92 in position. Using a TKO600. Heidt super ride in the front a Heidt four link ford nine inch in back.
Hoping to pull the engine on Friday and send stuff out for powder coat.

That's going to be fun! I love the early dueces! I debating on ls6 or larger 
for my 64 nova ss. Just swapped a 6.0 carbed with hot cam in my 68 camaro and it's a animal, can't imagine a l92 in an early duece! Keep us posted.

The only thing that was keeping me from swapping it that's it's a rare car, they didnt make ss till mid year to boost the sale of the new chevelle & 1st year with v8 & 4spd whitch it has, only 283 
. But it's my car, I don't plan on getting rid of it & I want something dependable with some power.
I'm going to do it, I'll save the original running gear.

Spent a couple of hours laying in the Speartech harness. Not a allot of room under the dash. Going to do a little preliminary exhaust work tommorrow before I pull the engine and front subframe.
Big shipment from Jeg's today. Sound deadener mat, Iditit column, Painless wiring for the chassis. Lot's of stuff to keep me busy.

With the lightweight of the car, plus the lighter aftermarket front clip and aluminum block/heads/oilpan, I suspect it will be a bit of a beast.
I have a Checkered Racing 4-bar, but I actually ended up making a brand-new crossmember on my own with a slightly thicker metal, more bracing, and clearouts for a 3" dual exhaust. If you want pics, I can get some tomorrow afternoon, but my exhaust is off the car and the crossmember is sitting on the floor.
