I have a 5.3 that will be converted to carb, to be installed in a 86 monte carlo.
My question is can any of the truck accessory brackets be used? If not what will i need to go with? I only plan on running alt. and power steering. thanks

 

I am planning on using the stock truck accessories on my 87 SS because everyone here told me they will fit, it will be tight but will fit.

I have f-body accesories on mine.

 

I know they'll fit under a factory 87 Turbo Buick Hood. Here's a pic of my 6.0L with a turbo.

 

My G-body swap was LS3 into 85 Monte using Corvette accessory drive w/ a/c, and Cadillac CTS-V oil pan. This arrangement tucks in close to the motor and gives you more space between the end of throttle body and radiator for your air inlet tubing. The alternator and power steering pump clear everything at the front of the g-body chassis great. (This accessory drive is also available w/o ac:
