SWEEEEEET. I'm drooling looking at the finished product. A first rate custom job.
I'm in the process of doing a custom 69 FB conv. I have a few questions for ya.
1. Do you remember who did the logo in the gage cluster?
2. Did the linkages for the GTO door handles work or was it custom fabrication?
3 You mentioned cutting the seat frame wires for the back seats but did the foam need modifying...It didn't look like you did much (if anything) to it?
4 I love those BMW seats. Do you remember what year they came from. I know that those seats come with a lot of features, heat, adj lumbar, power everything etc etc. Were you able to get all of those features working especially the heat?
Once again...a bang up job on your resto
Cheers
Jeff

Hey.. I have been following your build and thread for sometime now.. Great going on it, lots of good working ideas and finishing of details.
I started my 71 Nova a while ago.. slow going. But I wanted to ask for some more details and pictures on the rear LS1 brake setup for the E-Brake and adapter. I am throwing a set on the rear also.
thanks.. BC

It is a Staggered stock setup.
Questions.
1) What did you have to make or modify on the cable end brackets (at the Disk brake end, 1st Pictures)
2) Looks like you used the E-Brake Handle from the donner car. I am looking to keep the E-Brake Foot pedal. Any tips or suggestion on how to pull that off ?
3) You ended up using two Left side brakes. Was it the complete setup (backing plate, caliper, bracket) or where you able to use any of the Right side setup at all ?
4) I read that I will need a 1/4" spacer, what did you use ? (any pictures of it ?)
I saved the bracket setup from the donner car to (like your's in the 3rd & 4th pictures). I should be able to use that (weld or bolt in place). Just need to figure out how to get the cables to attach and line up.
Thanks

Sam, still loving this thread after all this time.
What did you do for accessories? I feel like ive seen you mention it but couldnt find it. I see a sanden compressor for the VA... I was thinking of using GTO accessories in my mustang but youve got a high-mount alternator which they dont have.. You wouldnt happen to have measurements from that still would you? (ive got less room between the strut towers)

The accesories are from Synister Products. Southern Performance, I believe, is the dealer for them.
