Thanks! And did you roll the lip or is it still there? If so, how close is it to the tire?

You have to notch the frame. I used Wolf mini tubs and they give you everything you need.

Here are a few misc pics. Radiator mounts are done and I'm starting to do the rear tin work. <(All of that will be covered in carpet when finished) I also have the travel limiters done. <(No chains or cables) And the headers and exhaust is done. <(1 7/8 primary, with 3 1/2" exhaust) And a light weight front bumper support is done with a tranny cooler mount incorporated into it.

Did you start from scratch on your headers or did you modify a set.

Right now I'm pulling everything back off that needs painting and installing the Duzs rails for the hood. When all that is done, I have to take the car to someone who can paint the engine bay and the new hood to match the car.

The headers were built from scratch. The flanges came from Stahl http://www.stahlheaders.com/flanges_main.htm The collectors came from Cone Engineering http://www.coneeng.com/exhaust_system_kits.html and the V-bands came from Race Parts Solutions http://www.racepartsolutions.com/products.asp?cat=106 The tubing I got locally.

Below is a pick of the finished headers. They are Jet Hot Coated in black.

Very impressive work man.

I might mini tub my car this winter and cut the axle. I really want to do a glide and put my motor on a plate. I'll have to see if funds allow it lol.

Keep on it! I can't wait to see it finished.

It's getting closer. Engine bay is painted and I'm starting to put everything back together for hopefully the last time. <(For a while I hope). The engine is going in now, and I'll wire as much as possible before I take it to the carpet shop...

Thanks, Phil. I found out about those collectors from your thread when you were building your headers... Build threads are a great places to find build parts and fabrication ideas.

Thanks! And I'm hoping to the car will weight around 2800 lbs with me in it... I'll know soon. And the engine is nothing radical. I'd say around 650-ish N/A, and 900+ on the bottle. It has two kits on it so I can spray it pretty hard if I want to.
