Default Edelbrock mounts which crossmember?

I'm doing a LS1/4l60e swap into my 69 nova. I plan on using the edelbrock mounts but not sure which crossmember to use. So if anyone is out there using these mounts can you tell me what crossmember your using... Just don't want any problem when I dropped the motor in..

On my 76 camaro I'm using the stock k-member, I just move it back to where the back holes in the subframe were the new front holes and re-drilled new back holes. This is the exact amount needed to position my 4L60e tranny mount in the right spot. No issues whatsover. I don;t think it matters what mounts your using, I have some no-names off eBay on my car.

I know Nova's share a similar design as the camaro so maybe this could help if you want to save some cash.

You guys need to mention what was your old trans. I though the crossmember was different between th350/th400. Mine came with a th400 and I am hopefull I just need to redrill my holes.

You can re-use the turbo 400 crossmember by reversing the mounting plate so that its on the front versus the back. Then you will need to drill one extral hole on each side and use one of the factory mounting holes (the one that was farthest back) and you'll be good to go.

I just did this on my 67 Camaro and I am very pleased with the final look, exhaust clearance, and placement of the trans.

Good luck,

There are so many different mounts out there that sets the motor back or keep it in the stock location. So I was just wondering if it makes a
difference what crossmember to use. Just didn't want any surprises..

cross member will be the least of your concern.
the trans cross member can be easily modified.
