I am posting this for a friend but would appreciate any feedback.

My friend had a 2000 SS that was totaled in the rear end. He saved the engine and transmission, and is planning to put them in to his 71 vette. What does he have as far as header options go? Will he be alble to fit a set of Kooks long tubes in or not? If anyone has any experience with this please let me know.

So far, I haven't seen anything that will fit. I think you can send pics to several companies and they will send you an incomplete set to tack up and return.

Heck, if he's already got the headers, have him try to install them and tell us if they work!!!

So far, all of the Vette guys that I know of are using stock manifolds because we don't know what works. My plan is to use some LS6 manifolds unless I can modify my Hooker sidepipes to work. If you find anything that works, let us know.
