Got a 68 vette with a 6.0 and Richmond 6 speed.
You'll need a bbc 621 bell housing, Keisler sells one with the extra bolt hole for the LS/LQ block. I used the LS1 flywheel/clutch/pressure plate. Some people worry about the disc spline engagement with the "longer" clutch plate distance, but it looked like 90% of the splines were engaged oon my install. If you're using a mechanical linkage, a longer throwout bearing provides correct geometry. Search my old posts for that PN.
SDparts sells the LS7 pilot bearing you need, they also sell a mechanical linkage z bar pivot ball that has a bracket that bolts to the bell housing bolts.

I'm running a Tremec 5 speed with a mechanical, z bar set up. Before I installed my moter I drilled and tapped an unused boss in the rear of the block. I took a steel plate (3/8" thick or so) and mounted it between the bell housing and the block. Works for my set up.
