My buddy has a 03 silverado that he blew his 5.3 in. Well S.D. Parts are blowing out ls6 long blocks for super cheap but he's really nervous about the swap n everything not working. We will use everything off the 5.3 (oil pan, acc. stuff n so on). I know it's all the same things but he's questioning me so much that I'm starting to second guess myself. Any input I can relay to him?

ls6 is 24x engine.it will bolt in. have to reuse all pan parts. should go with udp also.need to reuse all truck trans parts also.intake bolt right on

have him buy the ls6 and I'll trade him the 5.3L sitting in my garage if he'll feel better about it
