Manual Standalone Trans Controller

Manual Standalone Trans Controller
Has anyone ever heard of a standalone trans controller for 4L60E that just simulates a manual valve body?
I want to plug a controller into my trans connector that only looks at the shifter postition and keeps the solenoids engaged for whatever position the shifter is in regardless of rpm, vehicle speed, load etc.
It would solve the only problems I have with my entire conversion right now If I could find an item like that. It shouldn't cost $500 either because it could be incredibly simple compared to the fully programmable systems out there.

The Transgo shift kit allows you to hold any gear to any rpm. As for the controller, you can use any harness and computer thats made for the 4l60e and delete all of the engine controls from the harness except for the tps input which the computer will need. A junk yard harness and computer aint much and reworking the harness can be done by yourself and computer mods are less than $100.00

Use an older (OBD1) Astro van controller, I think the service number ends in 427, there is a lot of plans out to do it You have to program it to hold the gears. Somebody use to sell a manual valve body for the 4l60e, but I haven't seen any in a long time, guy use to use them, when the swapped to carbs and junked the computer
