brand new cammed ls3 Well im about to jump on the ls swap band wagon maybe.Ive been wanting to build a old school 383 roller cam motor with about 500hp at the crank.It was gonna cost me $4,500 in parts alone.Well I ran across a guy with a brand new ls3 with a 580/590 lift cam(cant remember the brand),gmpp carb intake,oil pan to fit older sbc chevy cars,mounts for older gm cars,and a msd igntion control box,flex plate for a th350 and a f-body balancer.Hes asking $4,000 for it.You guys think its a good deal?Engine has never been in a car.....what all would I need to put this in my nova besides headers and and a fuel system?Its a 78 model nova.Anything that will work on a ls swap into a 2nd gen camaro will work on my car.

you better go get that motor before it comes up gone
.....what type of alternator mount would work well?My car has manual steering and electric fans.All Id have is the water pump and alternator.

Actually all joking aside an LS3 crate motor is a few thousand more than that straight from GM. Throw in the other stuff and that price would make me question why he is giving it away at such a loss. Should be pretty easy to tell if the motor was never run.

no thanks i would rather keep my oil in my pan and not burning it all out in to the cylenders. how is that michel osborne special doing ha ha bet you wish you could spray it but last time i check oil and nitrous dont get along to well.

funny how you didnt run me back down or pull back on me.besides you only ran a 9thousanths faster.thats the diffrence in the tempature outside....hope ur ready for the pro tree this time
