Iam thinking of buy a tank with a pump in it already...Spectra Premium Part# GM34BFI.....its has..two vent pipes,includes sender assembly with stock-capacity fuel pump 85-115 PSI/50-60GPH;(0-95 OHMS)....any help if this tank would work for the LS1?....Thanks miguel

Seems to match up close to the specs of the walbro 255 that many use. Should be ok. Double check the walbro specs and make sure.

I have the GM34UFI tank in my LS1 Chevelle and I have had a recurring fuel pick up problem at about 1/4 tank. I have been talking with Spectra about a solution that they acknowledge and are supposedly working on a solution but after two months no resolution. It works fine above that level but the motor starves for fuel in a corner and will die if you don't catch it first.

I am not the only one to have this problem so I wanted you to know before you buy one. I have a single feed LS1 setup and I am thinking about modifying it to a full return line setup that might help alleviate it.

i have 96 impala gas tank with stock pump. 61fp at the rail. no problems. drive it all the time. put 600mi on last trip to ocean city MD. mike
