If I could find some GTO seats then I would put them in.... but we'll see what happens.... I actually never thought about it before.

Id imagine it takes some more work, but i saw a gto dash in a 2nd gen.

Id definitely go that route, IMO 4th gen interiors arent any better quality than 3rd gens.

Plus if you check out Impulse Blue Metallic GTOs, some had matching blue leather/suede interior. ****** dope (especially if youre going a similar color to your ss). I didnt see what color youre going with, but they have purple/red/black/etc.

Thanks!! It's going to be the same HOK Candy Blue as my SS, although I would like to flip it and do a White/Blue combo.

I'm not sure about the GTO Dash, nor am I sure about the seats. I already purchased the 4th Gen seats, they need to be recovered though.

Haven't really done much to it lately since I'm trying to find a donor car and work on getting my Shop started at the same time. But I can't wait to get this swap done because I have more planned after.

better quality.. prolly not but **** you pick up a very valuable glove box and the gauges wire up alot easier to you ls1 u have to change your fuel sending unit cause 4th gen dont run off 0-90ohm and the dash fits rather well with a little persuasion

im in the same boat you are man my interior is gutted in my 83 i just finished the ls1 swap im waiting to get a tune now but i still gotta do some **** to get it inspected... good luck on your build its pretty cut and dry just take your time! and parts are pretty cheap hell for carpet in the cargo area is only like $125 and headliner for t top car like $150 and that makes your interior 8 times better with just that..

o and do you wanna sell that cars interior parts like consul lid "if its not torn" an **** like that

Sorry been quite busy lately so no updates, I'm in the process of moving at the moment, and starting a paint and body class tomorrow so I'll be doing the body work on it soon enough.

A small update, The Iroc has been sitting in storage for the past few months while I put money to the side to open my shop, But I did come up on a couple deals for LS1's so I had to jump on them. A friend of mine was selling a 5.3 from an '01 Suburban, so a buddy and I went in on it, he wanted the heads for his build and I kept the block. I also found an LS1/4L60e combo for $1500 including the wiring, fans and radiator. The ls1 is cammed with ported 241's, headers, and a built/stalled trans. I'm selling the trans in favor of a t56. I'm also picking up a 4th gen rear next weekend, which I'll be tossing in 4.10 gears into. Slowly but surely the project is coming along. More updates coming soon. Here's a couple pics, the ls1/4l60 in this picture is actually for a swap I'll be doing into a friend's 79 Z28. I'll be picking up my engine and trans this weekend.

The Iron block 5.3L will most likely be stripped down this week and sent to the machine shop, I'm looking to bore it to 3.905" for an LS1 Stroker kit, I was going to put it in the Iroc until I found the deal on the engine/trans. So it may just go into my 89 K5 Blazer after the Iroc gets done...

Cool!!! I'll reconnect those wires when I get a chance to work on it again.

I've been swamped working on other people's cars so I haven't had a chance to touch my own... Story of my life. I'll be back into it within a couple weeks. Trying to figure out where to find the Corvette Filter/Regulator Assembly
