Default C100 Pin G

I did a search on this, but didn't see this specifically adressed.

I am using a t-56 with a 2002 F body engine harness in my LS1 into Studebaker swap

Pin G, C100 :The common knowledge here is to fuse this 15 amps with ignition on.

In looking at the schematics, it appears only used for emissions and automatic transmission.

My question, can this be deleted if the emissions are disabled and the trans is a t-56? Or did I miss something?

Also anything else I need to be alert for with a T-56 and the wiring harness?

Thanks for responding.

Looking at the wiring setups that are for T-56's show yes that Pin G needs the power. I used member rodders details on his webpage and he has details that it needs the power. I've only done a 4L60e, not sure which signals the T56 sends to PCM that requires it though.

I appreciate your input. Just went and looked at the GM power distribution schematic again, and only see where C100 pin G supplies power to the evaporative emission items, and the automatic transmission. I don't see what it has to do with the manual t-56. So if the evaporative emissions are disabled, and there is no auto trans utilized, it doesn't seem to be needed.

Can this be verified or refuted with a description of why?

I think that his can be removed. In my 99 t56 harness i pulled it because it only fed power to the evap on top of the intake. I also am not sure but will hopefully starting the car in the next few days. Any one else know?
