Default Do I need a TAC Module?

I'm putting an 05 GTO LS2 in the car with a Painless Performance computer and harness and DBW gas pedal part# 22731157 and am getting differing reports that I need a TAC module for the pedal to communicate with the computer and others say to plug the pedal right into the computer and you can fill the Grand Canyon with what I don't know about computers, DBW and harnesses, etc so any help is appreciated.

TIA!

Depends on the harness and computer.
A factory 05 GTO LS2 w/ an E40 computer would not have a TAC module.
But if you are using an LS1 style computer and harness set up for electronic throttle, then you would need a TAC module.
