Default Need wiring help???

I have been having tranny problems lately. When im on the freeway when i let of the gas and lightly get back on it, my trans goes from 2,000 rpm to about 2,500 depending on the speed. But if i keep my foot on the brake gentley breaking the tcc switch it will not do it. Witch brings me to beleive I have wired my tcc switch wrong. Its a 99 pcm, I have pin #33 a purple wire hooked up to a relay that goes to my break switchc its a 85 iroc. The wire pin #33 has 12v constan.when i step on the brake the relay breakes the the current and the wire has no power. This is how I was told to wire the switch. Is this correct, I have been reading other post and it seems every one has theirs hooked up a different way.

Any ideas, ive read a couple of post that makes it seem the way ive done it is not correct. One post said to use a monte carlo brake switch so that when you step on the brake it sends the tcc wire to ground. But what pcm pin? #33 purple or pin #42 A tan and black wire??

It sounds like you have it right. BLUE 33 should have 12 volts on it with your foot OFF of the brake. When you apply the brakes the voltage should drop to 0.

Your RPM change sounds normal too. Under some conditions the computer keeps the TC locked when you let off of the gas, but usually when you let off the TC unlocks, then when you get back on the gas you see the higher RPM. Then right after that you should see the RPM drop again as the TCC re-engages (unless you are giving it a lot of throttle, which would keep it unlocked).

yeah but the thing is that it will constantly do it if i cruise at a constant speed. It feels as if the trans is in neutral during those rpms, I then get back onit and the rpms go down. Know if i drive with my foot on the break gentley breaking the switch it will not do it. I tried unpluging the purple wire that did not help. Any ideas whats going on. My car has been checked by 3 trans shops , The first one drove it and did not feel anything, the second one told me it might be something electric he said it felt as if the converter was locking and unlocking. The 3rd shop said The trans felt good and that the slipping might be caused by the computer or code p0650, . This is the only code that comes up. I still havent wired my ses light but i doubt thats the problem. Any ideas whats going on ?????????????????
