Thanks! I'm thinking about something nice, well built, and inexpensive. Maybe a Borg Warner S400 series. And it will leave me room to grow. (6.0l down the line)

My family had a '79 six banger auto Fairmont and it never let us down. We put 160k miles on it and the next owner took it to 210k miles no problems.

I'm really fond of those cars. Cool build. I gotta say that right now the car is so ugly it makes baby Jesus cry! I'd rock it in a heartbeat though!

Little update...the refund e-check for the EFI Live bounced. So PayPal has me waiting a little more. They said worst comes to worst they take the hit and refund it to me.

Anyway, a buddy of mine picked up a CTSV/LS6 02+ Cam for me the other day. Still need a ton more though. Waiting for the whole EFI Live thing to blow over.

If the car was running, I'd guess it got sucked up by the turbos. LOL

Hey speedy911 have you talked to "tirefryin s10" on the board? he built a mustang with a turbo 5.3 a few years back. It hauled. He has since built a 6.0 mustang that went low 9's. Now he has a fairmont with twin 70's on a 6.0 and he ran high 8's last week 1.3 60' on drag radials. Good luck with the build

The car is so ugly right now that it is bad *** (I mean that as a complement). Can you imagine if you kept the exterior exactly the same while updating the drivetrain to your LS setup? What a sleeper that would be!

Cool build, you're going to surprise some folks up at Moroso.

Your cardboard license plate is funny, Miami is the only place I've ever been where there is an unwritten rule that you can write whatever you want on a piece of cardboard instead of having a tag. "Lost tag" is the one I saw all the time, sometimes on the same car for months. Not as funny as everybody who drives around down there with their flashers on when it rains though.

If small children and animals are missing in your neighborhood, just check the inlet of your turbo! Geez, is that thing stolen from an 18 wheel diesel truck?
