gto oil pan Hello all,
I'm planning on doing a ls1 swap into my 72 Chevelle or my 72 cutlass.Both are A body cars.I have a 2000 Pontiac ls1 motor and heard the stock oil pan won't clear the crossmember. Will the GTO oil pan clear it?

Welcome. No. You need a rear sump pan. www.RetroLSx.com pan will work. So will many aftermarket pans. A98-02 F-body MIGHT. Edelbrock makes swap mounts and headers. VERY common swap. Try using the SEARCH feature here.
