I'm getting close to my LS1 & T56 drop into my 69 Nova and i was wondering if someone could give me a pic of how the tunnel needs to be cut

I know the trans is taller and needs to be cut. Just want to get an idea of where it needs to be done at. A 67-69 camaro I believe is the same

Also if the moter and trans is brought forward two inches with the right adapter plates would the shifter be in a comfortable position? (I do not have a console)
