Any updates or pictures on the build. I've got my 71 Nova build going, but have not started a thread yet.. but it is slow going as vacation and work has kept me from moving along. I am just down the road a bit from Fairfield. Concord..!

havent posted in a while so here it goes. I reused my old exhaust, it fit really well with the exception of me having to cut about a foot off each pipe. ive also been soldering and routing some wiring for gauges and accesories. i decided not to go with a bench seat so i pulled some buckets out of a 96 camaro last week and took them to my upholstery guy. theyre red vinyle with a suede inlay. im also going to test fit a center console from a 4th gen and see how it fits. thats all for now ill put some pics up of progress later on this week.

When putting the engine in the factory location and using a 4L60E with a Currie 9", a factory Trailblazer (short not EXT) aluminium drive shaft fits, you just have to change the nylon lock u-joint for the snap ring style for a 2006 Trailblazer on the rearend side. Been running one in my Nova for over a year and did great on Power Tour. Cheap balanced aluminium drive shaft($115 pulled from a junk yard.
