DBW throttle body rapidly clatters
Got a weird problem I can't quite figure out...Every once and awhile when I turn the ignition switch to the run position the throttle body starts clattering open and close like crazy for 10-15sec. When I then start I have no pedal response.
This happens maybe once in 6-7 starts. I'm stumped! What would cause this??
I'm still in the process of putting everything together, so I haven't driven except for in and out of the garage.

the only things that come to my mind are either confusion between the pedal and cpm or possably that the pedal is just going bad. i was thinking of doing that kind of setup in mine but would rather do cable throttle body so i dont have to worry about it. anyway you may try to meter the pedal and see how it reads. maybey work it back and forth a few times while on meter to see if it changes in ways it isnt suppsed to. i.e. drops off completely . maybey you will get lucky and it show up.

If the pedal, TAC, PCM and TB are all from the same donor, then as caleditor notes it is likely that the pedal sensor or throttle position sensor in the TB are on the way out......that is if not a low battery voltage.
